Conceived by Jonny Dunhill some years ago,
The philosophy is simple; to sell the finest
quality food sourced as locally as possible.
e buy fish direct from the local fishing
boats every day. We use local potatoes and
vegetable growers and source our meats from
Kent. We use our award winning local brewer
for beer, and also feature Kent wines in the
restaurant. |

Our
staff are trained and dedicated to giving
customers the very best service, whether
they visit the shop, buy fish & chips to
take home or eat in our beautiful new
restaurant on the first floor. |

Jonny himself moved from London
seven years ago, where he had
supplied the finest restaurants
and hotels with oysters and
shellfish for twelve years. Here
he met the capital’s finest
chefs and restaurateurs, famous
and not so famous! |

On
moving to Ramsgate, the need for a
fishmonger in the town was very clear to
him, as was the demand for quality fish &
chips and fine restaurants to reflect the
fantastic variety and abundance of local
fish and other produce. |

The fishmonger opened in 2007, and won the
'Taste of Kent Awards Best Fish Retailer' in
Kent within six months! The restaurant
and the fish and chips opened in October
2009. |
